Superlay accesses your Google Calendar data through the read-only Google Calendar API scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly) to display your upcoming calendar events and provide meeting-related functionality within the Superlay application.
Superlay implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Google Calendar data:
Communications between the Superlay application, our backend services, and Google APIs are transmitted using HTTPS/TLS.
OAuth credentials, including Google OAuth refresh tokens where stored, are protected using encryption at rest within our Google Cloud/Firebase infrastructure.
Calendar events and related meeting information are retrieved when needed to provide the Calendar integration. Superlay does not permanently archive users' calendar events in its persistent databases.
Access to OAuth credentials and Calendar data is restricted to authorized systems and services using least-privilege access controls.
Users can remove their Google Calendar integration at any time by going to Settings in the Superlay application and clicking the “De-link” button. Clicking “De-link” disconnects the Google Calendar integration and removes the OAuth credentials associated with the integration from Superlay. Users may connect their Google Calendar again at any time by completing the Google authorization process again.
Google Calendar data is used to provide Calendar-related functionality within Superlay, including displaying upcoming events and supporting meeting connectivity and related application features.
Superlay may process limited calendar-derived information, such as relevant meeting metadata, when necessary to provide specific user-facing features.
Superlay does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, targeted advertising, credit scoring, lending, or selling user data to data brokers.
To provide certain user-facing features, Superlay may transfer limited calendar-derived information to OpenAI API for processing.
This information is processed solely to provide the requested Superlay functionality and is not used by Superlay to train, fine-tune, or improve generalized or foundational artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Superlay does not sell Google Calendar data to OpenAI or any other third party.
